Commencing in the late 1980s, the principal of NCSolutions was introduced to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) by joining the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution. This early involvement laid a strong foundation for the expertise we offer today. In 1993, the further experience was gained through the Federal Department of Justice’s ‘Dispute Resolution Project’. By 1995, the principal co-created the ‘Alternative Dispute Practice Manual’ through CCH Canada Ltd., becoming its first co-editor and authoring the section on Arbitration. Contributions to a Harvard ADR newsletter also highlight our long-standing commitment to advancing conflict resolution practices.
